Sedef is built so that we cannot access your data. This policy is short because there is very little to disclose.
Nothing. Sedef has no user accounts, no sign-up, no Sedef-operated servers, no analytics, no crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising identifiers and no third-party trackers. We do not collect, receive, store, sell or share any personal data — including your health data. We have no technical means to do so.
Your cycle entries, reminders and settings are stored locally on your device, in the app's private storage. Deleting the app deletes this data.
If you choose to pair with trusted contacts, pairing and walk check-ins are exchanged through your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service, shared only with the people you explicitly invite (up to five). This data lives in your private iCloud database, governed by Apple's privacy policy. The developer has no access to it. Unpairing removes the shared data.
"I'm home safe" messages are composed on your device and sent by you through Messages or WhatsApp. Sedef never sends messages on your behalf and never sees their delivery.
Reminders and safety alerts use local notifications scheduled on-device. Watch circle alerts are delivered device-to-device via Apple's push infrastructure; the content is not visible to the developer.
Sedef is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date. Since Sedef collects nothing, meaningful changes are unlikely.
